“Bullring” and “Popular slaughter”
In 2011 it was inaugurated the open-air leisure area most known as "Bullring" due to its circular form. Since the beginning, this area has turned into a place of feasts in the village, besides being a meeting point in the evenings when people walked and also in the summer nights.
It is the stage, among other events of the patronal feasts, of the popular verbena and of the so-called "Macrodiscotheque", the favourite night of the feasts for the young people.
The "Popular slaughter" was the first event that took place in the bullring. Over the years it has turned into one of the longest awaited festivities by the marteños. It is celebrated at the end of March and every year it gathers more people, taking place activities for all ages. It is a day in which gastronomy, music, party and civil conviviality take place.
